Hi there! We’re just regular folks—partners, parents, and full-time professionals—who cherish the life we’ve built together with our family and friends. But every now and then, we need time away, and when we do, we head straight to the lake or lodge!

For us, the lake & lodge are more than just destinations—they are havens for connection, relaxation, and adventure. Whether it’s a quiet weekend escape for the two of us, a lively getaway with friends, or a family trip filled with boating or hiking and board games or euchre tournaments, we never fail to create unforgettable memories.

Guy: The captain of our crew. Growing up on the water, he knows his way around a boat and loves the thrill of speed (even if the kids are on the fence about his tubing adventures!).

Lauren: The bookworm of the bunch. You’ll usually find her with a book in hand, but she will step away to make a meal, apply sunscreen, challenge you to euchre, or tackle a jigsaw puzzle.

We’re thrilled to share "our" beloved lake and woods with you, and we hope your stay is filled with laughter, relaxation, and cherished moments—on the water, in the woods and around the family table.

Rules

1. Check-In/Check-Out Check-in time: 4:00 PM or later. Check-out time: 10:00 AM or earlier. Please let us know in advance if you require special check-in or check-out.

2. Maximum Occupancy Please comply with maximum occupancy rules of the accommodation.

3. Smoking Policy This is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not allowed inside the house or on the premises. If you smoke, please use designated outdoor areas and dispose of cigarette butts responsibly.

4. Pets Well-behaved pets are welcome with prior approval. If allowed, pets must be kept under control at all times and should not be left unattended. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.

5. Noise and Quiet Hours Please respect the neighborhood and keep noise to a minimum, especially between 11pm and 7am. Parties, loud music, and other disruptive behavior are not allowed. Respect the local community and neighbors at all times.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance Please leave the property in the same condition you found it. Basic cleaning supplies are available for your use. If you spill or cause any damage, please notify us immediately so we can address the situation. Any excessive cleaning or damage may incur additional charges, which will be deducted from your security deposit.

7. Garbage Disposal Please dispose of your trash in the appropriate bins provided.

8. Safety and Security Lock all doors and windows when you leave the property. Please do not share the property access code or keys with anyone not listed on your booking. The property has a smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector for your safety. Please do not disable them.

9. Appliances and Amenities Please use appliances and equipment responsibly. If you notice any issues with the property (e.g., plumbing, electrical, or appliance problems), notify us immediately so we can address them. Pool/hot tub: Guests using the pool or hot tub do so at their own risk. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

10. Parking Please park only in designated parking areas. If parking passes or permits are required, please make sure to display them during your stay. Do not block neighbors' driveways or park in spaces that are not designated for this property.

11. Respect for Property Treat the property with care. Damages, breakages, or missing items will be charged to the guest. Do not rearrange furniture or remove items from the property without prior approval. We are not responsible for any personal items lost, damaged, or stolen during your stay.

12. Compliance with Local Laws Guests must comply with all local laws and ordinances, including noise regulations, rental laws, and other community guidelines. Please be aware of any additional neighborhood rules, which will be provided in the welcome guide.

13. Emergencies In case of emergency, please dial 911 or contact us immediately at (614) 584-5271 or (317) 506.1550. A first aid kit and fire extinguishers are available on the property for your safety.

14. Respectful Behavior Please be courteous and respectful of the property, neighbors, and community at all times. Any complaints regarding inappropriate or disruptive behavior may result in termination of your stay without refund.
